as an independent artist i am solely and entirely laden with the responsibility of shipping all my merchandise, direct from my home, to the post office, to you. i cannot afford nor justify employing a fulfillment partner to help me make ease of my merchandise distribution.

unfortunately, this means it can sometimes take up to a fortnight to post orders, depending on how chaotic my life is and/or how disorganised i am at the given moment (usually devastatingly so; as my being is a fairly convincing case in the argument for the existence of ADHD...)

i'll do my best to respond promptly and let you know what's going on. if it's the likely case that i've missed your order, or it's slipped through the holes in my sieve of a brain and been forgotten, i'll get myself moving and post it ASAP.
in the unfortunate case that my life is in absolute ruins, climate change and societal collapse have come knocking, or i am unable to post your item with enthusiastic immediacy for any reason, i'll endeavour to seek compromise with a mutually agreeable timeframe and deadline by which to catapult your late parcel over the counter at the local post office, or otherwise find another agreeable solution to you. this could be a discount code on future purchases perhaps, or a d/l code for a release not yet in your collection. maybe even early access to a future album. we'll work something out and negotiate a satisfactory compensation for any delays or disorderly occurrences on my end, factoring the severity of your wait and my own circumstances into the equation.

furthermore, and doubly more unfortunate than my unhinged ADHD, is that i rely on AusPost to deliver the parcels i send. this makes accurate delivery times nearly impossible to estimate, such is the the whimsical nature of Australia's national postal system and it's frivolous disregard for consistency in timeliness.
if marked with Authority to Leave, sadly i cannot guarantee that your package won't be tossed at your front door with your local postie's customary attitude of contempt and careless abandon, dumped in plain sight and then deserted for whoever to thieve. hopefully at worst, it'll wind up at your second-nearest post office, with an illegible collection card in your mailbox and not even a cursory effort to knock on the front door, even though your housemate was home to receive the parcel on your behalf the whole day. at the very least, you'll be able to conveniently collect it before post offices close for the weekend at 12pm the next saturday, or before 5pm on weekdays if you happen to have flexible hours or are fortunate enough to be unemployed.
while the quaint whimsies of AusPost are entirely beyond my control, i nevertheless apologise in advance for any egregious tomfoolery from their delivery people or vexatious difficulties at their behest.
Return Policy
my merchandise is described and pictured as accurately as possible and checked thoroughly for quality, but in the event something has gone wrong, my returns and refund policy are as below:

i am not required to provide a refund if you simply change your mind about a product you have purchased, however, if an item has a significant defect or problem then i will honour a refund or exchange as is required by Australian Consumer Law.
such defects or problems, as defined by the ACCC, are as follows:

1. the item has a defect or problem that would have stopped you from purchasing it if you had known about it,
2. the item is substantially unfit for its common purpose, and can’t be easily fixed within a reasonable time,
3. the item does not meet the specific purpose advertised and cannot be easily rectified within a reasonable time,
or
4. the item creates an unsafe situation.

if you have received a defective piece of merchandise and are seeking a refund or replacement, i ask that you provide receipt of purchase, a description and, if possible, photograph(s) of the problem, then return the item to me within 30 days of purchase at your own expense (to be reimbursed to you if the item is found faulty). standard shipping within Australia for a parcel weighing 500g or less is roughly $10.

if the item is defective as described you may request a replacement or refund. in the event i cannot replace your exact item (ie. in the event it is out of stock, or not to be re-run in a reasonable timeframe) i will provide a refund, or replace the item with another of your choosing to an equal value of the original purchase.
